Dr. Hope Thalody is an Orthopedic Surgeon with expertise in hip and knee joint replacement as well as complex revision joint replacement. Dr. Thalody provides non-surgical and surgical care for musculoskeletal conditions of the hip and knee including degenerative arthritis, inflammatory arthritis, post-traumatic arthritis, avascular necrosis, infection, and fracture. She also evaluates patients who are having difficulty after a prior hip or knee replacement to determine whether the patient may benefit from a revision procedure. She has specialized training in anterior minimally invasive hip replacement, robotic hip and knee replacement, quad sparing knee replacement, and outpatient total hip and knee replacement.
Dr. Thalody was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware. She received her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to complete her residency training in Orthopedic Surgery at Jefferson Health New Jersey and her fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction at the Rothman Orthopedic Institute. She has authored numerous journal publications in the field of hip and knee replacement surgery. As an avid athlete, she particularly enjoys getting her patients back to an active lifestyle. Outside of medicine, she enjoys cycling, hiking, and spending time with her husband, son, and miniature goldendoodle. She also enjoys weekends at the Jersey Shore.
