With the Surgery Center of Allentown since it opened in 2007, Jennifer brings over ten years of experience in the surgical setting to her position as Administrator. Prior to her current role, Jennifer served as the Executive Director of Surgical Services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton, N.J. and as the Business Manager of Perioperative Services at Lehigh Valley Hospital & Health Network. Jennifer believes the success of the Surgery Center of Allentown is due to its team of physicians and staff. “We have developed an exceptional team that truly cares about what they do. I am proud to lead a group that realizes that they have the ability to positively impact a person’s health and quality of life and brings that philosophy to work every day.”
June Habiak, RN, BSN
Director of Nursing
With the Surgery Center of Allentown since it opened in 2007, June brings over thirty years of experience in nursing to her position as the Director of Nursing. Prior to her current role, June provided care in the areas of medical/surgical nursing, critical care nursing, and pharmaceuticals. Throughout her career, June has been actively involved with quality assurance, infection control, education and regulatory compliance, which she uses to ensure that the Surgery Center’s patients are provided the highest quality of care.
Frances Oswald, CPC, CMM
With the Surgery Center of Allentown since it opened in 2007, Frances brings over 25 years of medical practice administration and business management to her role as Business Manager. Frances is certified in procedural coding and medical practice management. Her prior practice management experience in the specialties of neurology, cardiology and endocrinology enable her to help the Center’s patients with any insurance/billing related issues to ensure that the financial part of the surgical process is a smooth and expedited one.
Joining the Surgery Center in 2011, Chad brings over 11 years of experience to his position as Materials Manager. Prior to his current role, Chad was in the bio-medical field specializing in refractive surgery. As Materials Manager, Chad focuses on maintaining sufficient inventory for daily surgeries while controlling costs to ensure each patient is delivered high quality care at as low a cost as possible. Chad supports the Center’s team approach to providing care, which he learned during his fast paced career as an Aviation Electronics Technician in the U.S. Navy.
